Single use needles are inserted into the skin at points at predetermined points. The thin needles usually cause very little discomfort. Some describe the feeling as an aching sensation when the Qi has been reached. Needles are usually inserted for 15 minutes. Some people will feel heavy, relaxed, after a session others feel tired and sore or even nothing at all is quite common.
